Authorities discovered the bodies at a home on Lion Creek Road in Wandal after a welfare check was requested last night, shortly after 8pm.

Upon arrival, investigators located a 76-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man dead inside the dwelling.

A crime scene has been established at the property as officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
